We don't go because we have all the answers or because we're Bible scholars—we go under Jesus' authority, with the promise that He is with us. This message brings together the four movements of our vision: REVIVE — Jesus found me. I encountered Christ. RESTORE — Jesus is changing me. I am growing in Christ. RELEASE — Jesus is using me. God doesn’t restore us just to have us sit on the sidelines. He restores us so He can release us to use what He has placed within us for His Kingdom. We discover that restoration changes how we see ourselves, shows us where we belong, reveals the gifts God has placed within us, and calls us to put those gifts to work. Instead of asking, “Why didn’t God give me their gift?” we should ask, “What am I going to do with what God gave me?” • Release means putting your gift to work. Ministry isn’t measured by the size of your platform, but by your faithfulness to the assignment God has given you. Being rescued isn’t the end of the story. You may have been broken, but you are not beyond restoration.
